Lyrics or Music - You Decide

Ok, let's see if you can find this song out. Here it goes in english, well almost meaningful or meaningless is something you have to decide !

Her eyes have words, words have magic.
I got lost in the magic, got out of control.
I looked at you, you looked at me,
And it became difficult.
And you became my destiny,
You are only my destination.
(Here comes the clincher ...)
Ten excuses made and took away my heart .. took away my heartt..
Ten excuses made and took away my heart.
Ten excuses made and took away my heart .. took away my heartt..
Ten excuses made and took away my heart.

Can somebody tell me which song it is ?? aah !! It is the english translation of
the superhit song - "Dus Bahaane Karke Le Gaya Dil" from the superhit movie Dus(Bollywood Movie).
Can somebody please explain me the meaning of "Ten excuses made and took away my heart" !!! I am totally stumped as I have been since I heard the song. Shucks man. Lyrics have no meaning these days. If that's so, my english translation should fit in well too !! ;-)

Check out the original lyrics ...

uski aankhon mein baatein, baaton mein jadoo
jadoo mein kho gaye hum hogaye beqabu
i looked at you, you looked at me
aur hogayi mushkil
and you became my destiny tuhi meri manzil
dus bahane karke legaye dil legaye dil
dus bahane karke legaye dil
dus bahane karke legaye dil legaye dil
dus bahane karke legaye dil

I would guess it means that the person kept making excuses and promises, but didn't follow through and kept breaking the partner's heart. Sad love gone wrong many times over.

Hello Mr. ;)
every language has its own way, style and beauty in expressing emotions...Just because the translation is bad(ten excuses one indeed sucks..)u cant blame the original....
:D

The movie is called "dus" which is the number 10 in hindi ... so i guess it has to do something with that ... ?

10 bahane - which is correctly interpreted by you as '10 excuses'. That is an idiom in Hindi language that people who make repeated excuses to achieve something they wanted. The lyrics indicate the jest of the guy whose amour took his heart away after making 10 silly excuses.

-- Good Luck..

ya now the way u translated it is the way i would. cuz i dont really know alot of hindi but when u watch alot of Hindi films u start to pick up. I jus watched the movie and the subtitles state otherwise.

they say that aur hogayi mushkil means "and you became my life" but thts impossible. Yes it goes with the song to make sense but mushkill means difficult u use it all the time. and secondly when u translated "ten excuses made and took away my heart" the subtitles state that it is "she took away my heart on VARIOUS PRETEXTS". now that is deffinatly wrong. it should be 10 pretexts. cuz they r sayin pretexts instead of excuses i guess for a more intelligent sound

*** i think that i responded a bit too late lol i jus saw this today before watching the move cuz i wanted the lyrics to the song***
